Selection Policy

The Woody Gap School Library Media Center is dedicated to providing quality resources to each and every one of the students it serves.  School library media center material selection shall be a continuing process involving administrators, teachers, librarians, students, and parents.  The primary factors influencing selection shall be reading interests, abilities, and backgrounds of students using the school library media center, curriculum, and the quality and accuracy of available materials.   In order to ensure that appropriate materials are found in the school collection, the school library media specialist will follow the following procedures in determining which materials to make available to students and teachers.  To view elements of the selection policy, click on the links below:
